Verona’s Seafood Chowder

Ingredients

4-5 potatoes, cubed (wash and leave skins on, if desired)
1 onion, diced
haddock/cod/or catfish
1 can clams (or fresh)
1 can lobster paste
This is the small version.  When I go larger, I add more of everything, as well as lobster, crab, etc….
optional:  1 carrot and diced celery
1/2-1 can evaporated milk
1 tbsp margarine or butter
salt and pepper to taste

Method

Boil potatoes and onion in salted water until slightly tender.
Add fish (fresh, frozen or canned).
Simmer or boil easily until fish is cooked, for about 10 minutes.

Turn down heat and add milk, margarine and lobster paste/paté, salt and pepper to taste.
