What We Added

We can’t seem to get enough boat gadgets. During the winter, it seems we get extra excited about finding things for the boat.  We are armchair sailors for sure. I read more boating blogs in the winter than any other time of the year and I work on this site more in the winter.

I do study other sailing sites. I look for style and what works and doesn’t work on a site. What seems to work best is to keep each topic to its own page and still make topics so that they can be easily found. After a few years of growth, I decided to move change the format and break up a lot of the information found on one page into individual sub pages. The problem with sub pages is that they aren’t very end user friendly for those on mobile devices.  Consequently, I also added links from each picture title below to its specific page, enabling easy access to manoeuvre around the site.  Enjoy!
